This week things have been getting better we
have this investigator that was really solid then these 2 guys came over and
told her that she needs to be better (she is trying to quit smoking but it has
been really hard because she is really stressed because she is going to school)
so she didn’t come to church and said she doesn't know if she wants anything to
do with our church if there are people like that in it and those are the kinda
people that drove her away from the Baptist church. One big thing I have learned
is to not be judgmental of people; they are trying the best they can. We are
teaching a Navajo family that is really cool. We have taught them a few lessons
and we didn’t see much potential because they didn’t really talk much just looked
at the ground and didn’t really answer our questions, but at the end of the
last lesson they really came out to us and were asking us questions and seemed
really interested. That was really cool.
Tonight we are teaching this guy that we have been trying to set up an
appointment with for so long we are really excited for him. One thing that we
do a lot is give blessings, that is really cool.. The new missionaries are
really cool Elder Haskell is back (he is the one that went home for medical reasons)
and then it is Elder Baird he is really cool too. Things are going much better we are getting
more members to come out with us and that is really good. The best part of
every day is when we are teaching someone. The spirit is so strong every time it’s
so cool. I have been reading Jesus the Christ and wow that is an intense book,
