This was in response to asking his suggestion  on a lesson-

To start off  there is this lesson we like to do with people that are less active and it is a Sunday sundae haha. What you do is you have the bowl and say k this is your sundae now you need to fill it with things to do so you go to sacrament and put a scoop of chocolate in then you go to Sunday school and put a scoop of vanilla in then you go to priesthood or whatever class you go to then you put strawberry in (keep in mind you can use whatever flavor you want) then you read your scriptures and put some chocolate fudge on then you take a nap and put caramel on. Then you pray and then you put sprinkles on then you watch the football game then you put mustard on and you go to the store and then you put ketchup on it. You then talk about how mustard and ketchup would go great on a hotdog or hamburger which could be Monday or Saturday, but not on Sunday.  Yeah we really like that because we get ice cream haha.  So anyway about the training it is really cool because they talked about how they don’t want us tracting and that is exactly what me and elder O’Neill have been trying to do.  We are setting up a program in our ward so that we teach everyone  in the ward what and how to teach so that when they have a chance to bring something up they will be able to do it then be able to bring their friends in to the church.  My comp and I are thinking that we will be starting the new technology stuff pretty soon because we are getting a new mission president and we think they have been training them on it. whelp everything is going really good we spoke in one ward yesterday then the other bishop found out and asked us to speak this next week in his ward. I think I’m going to talk about the talk obedience brings blessings. We haven’t been teaching that much because we are really trying to get these programs going, but we think they will jump forward and fast so that we can be teaching a ton. Elder O’Neill is great he has been teaching me so much. this last week we helped someone move and it was a guy that was a professor at byu so we were hoping that we would get full rides for helping him, ;) but nope haha he said he was going to put in a good word for us to the new mission President miller for us because he was going to be at the training haha welp hope you have a great week. I love you so much

Elder Fenner was transfered last week to Las Cruces, New Mexico which is at the bottom of the state.  His companion is Elder O'Neill.

I really love it down here everything is great. It is dang hot, but it's funny because today is 93 and it feels really good compared to the 105 that it has been haha.
This is in response to his mom's question about whether he likes just having one ward or more-
I love having 2 wards, but then again I like having 1 ward our area might be split so we might just have one ward again. One ward is like married college students and rich farmers haha and the other is like country club people haha.   I  love it this morning one member took me and my comp out golfing that was really fun. He taught us this morning then next week we are going to actually play so I'm super excited for that because I am alot better now then when i went with Jason haha. Anyway I love the people here.  There is a few famillies that are short like me so I fit in really well haha. As far as investigators I'm still getting to know a lot but as far as I know they are really good we have 2 fully active families it is really weird haha they have been going to church for years and just haven't been baptized yet.  I have never seen that before.  They are getting really close to baptism so we are really excited about that.. One of the wards hasn't been doing as well as far as missionary work so a lot of missionaries have forgot about them but me and my comp are trying to kick it off there and all the members seem really excited haha.  I really like my comp his name is Elder O'Neill he is really cool.  He is a hard worker and also knows when to have fun.   That's about all that's going on here.  I forgot my camera but I will try to remember next time.

He said if you are sending packages or letters send them to the mission home the address is on the side of his blog.

Things are going good this past week.  This week should be even better.  We are just having a problem getting our investigators to church. One of our investigators, that is awesome, came to church they come every week.  They are a part member family and she is coming back to activity. It was really cool they blessed there 2 babies and asked us to stand in the circle. That was awesome!  One thing that  is really cool, one person I gave a blessing to was sick and nobody knew what was wrong with them and the next morning after the blessing they found out what was wrong and he is slowly getting better. It is really cool to see the power of the priesthood. I have gotten alot more comfortable talking to people.  Not  much has changed we are just waiting for investigators to finally come to church and then they will be ready to be baptized it is so exciting to see people progress like that and how there testimony for things can grow so fast expecially on the word of wisdom and how it helps them by living it. I will let you know next week if I got transfered but anyway have a great week i love you so much

Sorry I have been a slacker at posting...

Things are going good here .  It is kinda slow though because we teach most of our lessons on the weekend and everyone is out of town, but thats alright things should be better this week  We had zone conference this past week and it was really good untill he said Elder Fenner I would like you to come up and talk for 5 minutes about the gift of the holy ghost and I was like crap haha.  I was so nervous everything was just random thoughts coming out of my mouth haha non of it made sense haha oh well at least its over with now haha.  We got an email from President this week asking if anyone knew any sign language and I told him I took 2 years in high school so who knows maybe I will become a sign language missionary haha. that would be crazy. we didn't teach very much last week because the dang holiday and everyone was gone but oh well. I only have 2 more weeks of training then I will be a full blown missionary haha and I can't blame stuff on my comp haha jk. Anyways things are good. After we email we are going to teach a new investigator we are excited about that haha.  We are really low on miles right now so we are really excited for Saturday when the new month comes around and we get  more miles haha. One of our investigators that was going to be baptized this week, we have had to push back her date because she hasn't been to church and doesn't really know any members.   That is a big part of the focus is they need some fellowshippers so once we leave they will still know people.  That was my week. love and miss you so much.
